Plus W and Kanda University of International Studies Launch the ‘DX X English Future Global Leader Development Program’

Fostering Hybrid Talent in the DX Era: ‘DX X English’ Leaders

Plus W Inc., in collaboration with Kanda University of International Studies (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Eiji Naka, hereinafter referred to as “Career College”), will launch the “DX X English Future Global Leader Development Program” starting in November. This program aims to cultivate next-generation leaders who will drive DX initiatives globally. Professional instructors with practical experience will provide simultaneous training in DX and English.

What is a ‘Future Global Leader’ in the Era of Rapid Globalization and DX Advancement?

In today’s world, where technological development and globalization are accelerating, companies are required to collaborate across borders and share information in real time. Future business leaders must possess leadership and empathy to achieve goals with team members from diverse national and cultural backgrounds. Additionally, as DX progresses rapidly, the ability to make quick data-driven decisions and communicate persuasively in any language is becoming a critical competitive edge.

However, many companies face the challenge of a shortage of leaders capable of handling DX and globalization. Although leadership candidates may study English and digital skills theoretically, they often lack the practical experience needed to deliver tangible results.
To address these issues, Plus W and Career College have developed a practical training program that enables participants to learn DX and English simultaneously. Becoming a leader in diverse business environments requires adaptability, empathy, and the ability to take the lead in driving DX and business initiatives. This program transitions from theory to practice, providing participants with opportunities to grow into leaders who can deliver results.

‘Future Global Leader Development Program’ Focused on Practical Learning Led by Industry Experts

This program adopts a new development model that emphasizes "practical application" rather than traditional "learning" to acquire complex skills.

1. Practical Training to Solve Real Issues Faced by Participants

Participants will identify and address real challenges they face by creating “Project Plans” using DX solutions. Throughout this process, they will acquire practical DX knowledge through feedback from instructors and develop business English skills through creating materials and delivering presentations in English.

Having supported over 25 years of business English training and contributed to DX initiatives for many listed companies, Career College and Plus W have encountered the following common corporate challenges. This program comprehensively addresses these challenges, garnering high expectations from various companies.

【Corporate Challenges】
Business Divisions: Promoting DX, including internal system updates and process efficiency improvements in both domestic and international offices.
HR Development(HR Departments): Cultivating strategic leaders who can excel both domestically and internationally.

2. Direct Guidance from DX Experts and English Communication Specialists

In the DX field, experienced professionals currently active in leading business roles—such as marketing directors at major web service companies and CXOs of listed firms—will provide direct instruction. For English communication, seasoned trainers with extensive experience in corporate language education will deliver practical, hands-on guidance.

Comment from Junya Fukui, Senior Director of Plus W Inc.

Junya Fukui, Plus W

Having supported over 350 DX projects for domestic and international companies, we frequently hear concerns about the lack of talent capable of handling DX on a global scale. In response, we have focused on practical training that significantly enhances knowledge through real-world experience. From the initial design phase with Career College, we prioritized ‘the importance of hands-on experience’ and ‘acquiring knowledge applicable in the field.’ Our collaboration with a leader in language education has elevated this program to foster next-generation leaders with true global DX capabilities.

English is essential for promoting global business, but it is ultimately a tool for advancing business and energizing human resources. Meanwhile, DX knowledge is becoming increasingly important in global business. In the coming era, the fusion of DX and English will be indispensable. In a society where AI continues to evolve, expertise in DX combined with English communication skills will be critical for business advancement. Therefore, we have developed an innovative training program that integrates DX and language education. This program aims to equip participants with practical knowledge and skills to creatively engage in global business.
