Mr. Kango Hayashi, Plus W Inc. Senior Manager of Global Business Division and Head of Pakistan Japan Centre, participated in the online seminar titled “Study and IT Jobs in Japan, MEXT Scholarship”.
This event was organized by a student volunteer organization called ‘Indus Students Organization’, for the soon-to-be graduating Pakistani engineering students of two universities, MUET Khairpur and IBA Sukkur.

Plus W presented about four main topics: Plus W’s company overview, PJC overview, project case studies, and about the Japanese language program. In addition, we were also joined by Mr. Sardar Ahmed Shah, a Pakistani intern from our company, who is studying at Osaka University in a Ph.D. course. During the Q&A session, we received many questions from the students about work and internship opportunities in Japan and what Plus W can do to support them. The students were very interested and engaged throughout the session.

Also, Mr. Haris Gulzar, a UET & Tokyo-Tech Alumnus who joined a major telecom company in Japan and is currently working as an AI Engineer on AI for Speech Recognition, gave an online presentation about the attractiveness of Japan, his experience working at Japanese company and also about the MEXT Scholarship, which was attended by more than 70 students.

In the future, we will continue to participate in such events to increase awareness about Plus W and establish contacts with university students to realize the matching of Pakistani human resources, especially IT engineers, with Japanese companies.
